About Copper Connect Care

Together We Care. Person-centred care across Wandsworth and South West London since 2017.

Our story

Care built around the person, not the diagnosis

Copper Connect Care provides care and support to adults with mental health conditions, learning disabilities and autism.

We began as a home care provider for the London Borough of Wandsworth in 2017, and we have since grown to include supported living alongside our domiciliary and outreach services. Our aim is simple: to help the people we support live fulfilling, independent lives in the comfort of their own home, with care shaped around them.

We work closely with families and, where relevant, with community multidisciplinary teams such as GPs, social workers, occupational therapists, mental health coordinators and district nurses, so that support joins up around the person.

Our approach

Led by the person, every time

We believe care should be led by the person, not the diagnosis. These principles guide everything we do.

Person-centred

We start with the person, their goals and their choices, and build support around them rather than around a service.

Co-produced

We plan care together with the person and the people who know them best, and we keep checking that the plan still fits.

Least restrictive

We support people in the way that respects their freedom and independence as fully as possible.

Safeguarding that listens

We take a person-centred approach to safeguarding, focused on the outcomes the person actually wants.

Our people

Our staff are the heart of what we do

Every member of the team is recruited through a rigorous process that includes enhanced DBS checks, in-depth interviews and reference checks. New staff complete an induction aligned to the Care Certificate, and ongoing training, supervision and appraisal keep our team current and confident.

We support people with mental health conditions, learning disabilities and autism, so our training includes understanding and supporting those needs well.

Regulated care

Registered with the Care Quality Commission

Copper Connect Care is registered with the Care Quality Commission, the independent regulator of health and social care in England. Registration means we are inspected against national standards for the safety and quality of the care we provide.

We are based at Office 104, Highland House, 165-167 The Broadway, London SW19 1NE, and we support people across the London Borough of Wandsworth and South West London. If you are unsure whether we cover your area, please ask.
